Mission: Survival of the fittest
Location: Holodeck 2
Timeline: I need to ask the Captain

On:

It was orange and polka-dotted. Jane loved it already. From the frill across the front to the side belt around her waist and even the flared bell-bottoms that hid her leather sandals. Her research had told her that this was the best style to go with in order to blend in. Sure it was a holodeck but part of the fun was the emersion. She fixed her beaded bracelets and then her hair which was brain back in a single long braid down to her waist. She'd need to cut it soon. She mused. Her timer announced that it was time to get moving. She was excited to see this Elvis 'the king's Presley for herself. She had noticed the concert written into the atenary for this evening and decided she'd just do it. Anything was better than being alone in her quarters.

Dinter had just finished work when his shift ended. He was so excited to finally see the king. Sure it wasn't really going to be him but a hologram. Dinter was just going to kick back and relax. Take it for it was The 1973 Aloha from Hawaii concert.

He had selected an outfit similar to the one of "John Travolta" in the film "Grease". and was off.
He was supposed to meet the counselor here so he looked for her. He finally found her in the holodeck.

"Oh well, there you are" He sarcastically said in his rarely used American accent.

Jane was not phased by the sarcastic tone. She turned smiling at him her whole body was tight with barely concealed excitement. "Yup and here you are!" she said playfully then looking him up and down, "Wow you look amazing."

"Aw thank you Jane I knew you loved me" Dinter said followed by a laugh. "Let's get to the 70s we've got front row seats"
Dinter continued in his American accent. "The longer I keep this accent the more I'll annoy jane" dinter thought.

Sudden the yellow on black merged into something of hawaii. Then the people turned up. In a moment dinter saw him. The king of rock and roll. Elvis freaking Presley.

Dinter and Jane enjoyed the show when all of a sudden Elvis went up and began singing his favorite Beatles song.

"My version of the Beatles yesterday,

Yesterday
All my troubles seemed so far away
Now it looks as though they're here to stay
Oh, I believe in yesterday"

Each word pierced dinters heart.

"Its to bad what will happen to him in a couple years huh jane?" Dinter partly joked.
