Three weeks already-

Personal transmission-

I have almost concluded my evaluation of the senior staff and made great progress in meeting and getting to know much of the rest of the crew. Being here is such a beautiful thing. To meet these people and serve beside them is everything I ever hoped for. How exciting it is to be a part of this team exploring the nearly unexplored reaches of the Delta quadrant. There just are not words enough to express the many strong emotions I feel with in me. The Captain has approved my artinary for the month and left future endeavors to my descretion. I will do my best to not abuse this trusted authority. I love it here. It felt like home the minute I saw her, you should have seen her father. All broken barely able to make it to port. But they did. You would have been so proud. Please don't stay angry with me for much longer. I miss you and mom. I love you. Please write back to me.
