Jane stepped into the turn and spun once then twice her fingers slipping easily through Wulgars loose hold on her fingers. She rolled back to him then moving into the next series of steps they had been practicing. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 her mind counted then step out 2,3,4,5 arm up turn 6,7,8. It was a swing dance step. basic and she enjoyed the simplicity of it as it gave her time to just enjoy the time with her friend. They had cleared a big enough space in Wulfgars barracks with help from the other two crewmen he shared it with. They had at first been rather amused to sit and watch the two, but soon got bored and went off to find better entertainment elsewhere.

Jane was glad they were gone. Because now she could take advantage of their solitude. As he spun her back to him she leaned forward to plant a kiss on him and pressed herself close instead of maintaining the personal square between them.

He returned the kiss, shifting it into the dipping kiss. He broke the kiss after a moment and smiled down at her. "Thank you."

"No, thank you." Jane said as she let him guide her back up with that unnatural grace of his. She enjoyed the feel of his body as it shifted almost fluidly beneath her hands as they moved. Though on the down side it made her feel like a clumsy Ox at times. She enjoyed it too much to give it up though. She was sure with enough practice she'd improve. And he made practice so ease to want to do.

Wulfgar smiled as they finished the dance. He reached over and grabbed the water bottles on the bunk, offered her one. "When this confinement is over, I need to hit the gym. Would you join me?"

"I am not sure, the last time I was in the gym with you I almost didn't come out again in one piece." Jane teased referring to the time shed first seen him and in her distraction had tripped over her own feet. the memory made her blush she tried to hide it by taking a drink of the water he had handed her.

Wulfgar laughed as he remembered that day as well. "Yeah but this time, I'll be there to catch you should you trip again." He said with a grin and a wink. "What do you say? We could do something else too. Ladies choice."

"The gym. gah.. if we must then we must. it is your turn to pick." She teased playfully." She shifted her shoulders to the music that was still playing and let herself drift through the room. "How about until then....hmmm... I know!! We could always have a dance off. Its good cardio." She suggested getting up she started to dance almost clumsily around the room for him.

Wulfgar smiled at her energy. She was a very high spirited woman who tried to make everyone around her happy. He watched her sway and move as she danced, the almost floating quality of her movements. Every move was almost graceful. He couldn't help but watch her before he spoke. "Who all would be there if there was a dance off? It wouldn't be as much fun if it were just us."

"Oh you don't find me to be a worthy opponent eh?" She teased knowing that's not what he meant at all but still wanting to prod him into coming over and playing with her.

"No, not a worthy opponent but a very worthy and capable partner." Wulfgar said with a wink and a grin. He stepped over and quickly fell into step with her, a hand going to her waist and the other taking her hand. He lead her into a spinning waltz and looked into her eyes.

"Smooth very smooth save." Jane said with an enamored sigh as she let him lead her around some more at the subdued pace. She was almost entirely sure his esteemed colleges that he shared the barracks with were getting use to her being around so much now. They had actually figured out a schedule so as not to disrupt anyone else. but now was one of the rare occasions that they had a hour or so to themselves. Mostly they would cuddle up and watch movies and maybe nap. Then there were these times where the energy built up was thick enough to want to explode. She was thankful at least she could wander if she choose too. which she didn't preferring to stay close to him in support and solidarity for having gotten him into this mess to begin with. They were fast becoming some of her most fondest moments. She looked forward to this, just being with him hanging out and being silly.

"Would you like to stay for dinner?" Wulfgar asked as he picked up the tempo. "I'm sure your dancing up an appetite." He winked as he shifted his grip to a double handed waist hold. As soon as his grip was secure, he scooped her up over his head, perpendicular to the deck and held her there for a few seconds. Then with a push up and twist, spun her up and over to fall gracefully into his waiting arms. His right caught her in the upper back while his left arm caught her behind the knees.

Jane was confused as he shifted his hold but then when he adjusted his grip she knew what was coming. Instinctively she tighten her frame. She could not stop the still startled "squeeeeeeeea." and ensuing giggles that followed which destroyed her control. But thankfully he had already began to recover her by that time. So he was left with a wiggling giggling ball of Jane.

Wulfgar lifted her up a bit to kiss her on the forehead before dropping her legs so she could stand on the deck again. "You never answered me, my little Doe. Will you join the Wolf in his den for a bite?" He asked.

"Oooo How scary." She chuckled going over to sit on his neatly made bunk. "Depends on what you have on the menu. Impress me and I might even consider saying yes." She said with that teasing note to her voice before she finished the bottle of water off.

Wulfgar mirrored the chuckle. "Why bread and water of course, you don't think they feed me steak and lobster in confinement do you?" He said teasingly and with a wink.

"Then maybe I should get us something sweet for desert to help cheer you up." Jane offered, "Like some cookies perhaps."

Wulfgar chuckled, grinning. "What would you like to eat though if you decided to join me?" He raised an eyebrow inquiringly.

"Chicken soup and crackers I would think. Its a step up from Bread and water." Jane said taking off her shoes and socks so she could sit cross-legged on his bunk.

"Sounds good. Let me get that if you want to get the offered dessert." He said then realized that she had removed her shoes. "Or I can just replicate some chocolate cake for tonight." He walked over to the replicator and spoke. "2 chicken soup, hearty broth, heavy veggies, hot. Saltine crackers on the side."

Jane had removed her hair tie letting her hair tumble over her shoulders in waves. She tossed it back over her shoulder as she got up to join him at the table. "I like chocolate, what movie should we watch tonight? And don't worry I brought my pjs this time so shouldn't get so over heated this time." She then reached in her overnight bag that still sat on the chair forgotten until now and pulled out one of the cellophane colorful bags with chocolate chip cookies. "I told you desert is on me tonight." She sat them on the table with a smile.

Wulfgar chuckled as he carried the two dishes over and sat them on the table. He quickly went back to retrieve and quickly returned with the crackers. "I should have known you would have brought some." He sniffed and over the delectable smell of the hearty soup he could smell the sweet scent of the cookies. "And by the aroma, they are my favorites too." He sat opposite of her and raised the mug of cocoa. "To when I'm finally free and I can take you on a proper date." He toasted.

"Mmmmm, Can't wait to see what you have planned. Does it have to be a superise??" She asked with a playful pout as she rose her own mug of hot cocoa and began to blow on it to cool it out of habit.

"Well, I'm still planning it but it will be an eventful night, that's for sure." Wulfgar winked at her as he sipped his cocoa. "As for the movie, I'm in the mood for an action comedy. What about you? What would you like to watch?"

"That sounds good. We haven't watched part two to that Super Troopers movie. We could see that," She suggested.

"Sounds like a plan then." Wulfgar said before he took a few bites of soup.

"good," Jane turned her full attention to the meal. She went over her own padds as she did.
