Checking into some maps of the Delta Quad

Location: Briefing Room

LCMD Rouni was in the Briefing Room going over the charts. To get better acquainted with the area of the Delta Quadrant the y were in. And was doing some routine 2XO duties at the same time. She was using the largest computer monitor and checking details. She had told Captain Kamar what she was doing.

She was looking for areas close by that may be friendly and also may have some spare parts that we may be able to get from them.


Frank looked over the maps of the area, the map was blank east and south except for the area near Tabula Rasa. To their west was basically the southward track of Voyagers path. "We only have Voyagers data only this southwestern track, the east and south are basically unknown. Keep in mind it's been quite a few years since Admiral Janeway traveled through there, and we don't know what has changed in the 15 years since."

"Understood Captain, things change a lot and sometimes friends change to enemies too. I was talking to a trader who said the are several wrecked ship in this area from where the b\Borg attacked a group of ships and severely damaged them at this location. It is just off the track that Admiral Janeway traveled while in this sector and may warrant a short look to verify. It is 3 days away at warp 4 to the coordinates."

"We can check it out, if we can squeeze an extra warp or two from the engines we will do what we need to do." Frank stroked his beard, "let's go ahead and get the course plotted out, if our test cruise goes well we can head in that direction."

"Aye Captain, I was hoping you may be interested the course is174 mark 215. I checked out long range chatter on my own through communications. There are not signs any chatter in that area either."


"Let's notate that heading, any others you think we should discuss?" Captain Kamar asked.

"Understood Captain., There are 3 locations that Captain Janeway fought some Markee ship and destroyed to of them. Maybe the wreckage has stuff we can salvage. Nearest one is here at 255 mark 117. The Markee then joined the ship with her and her crew.

Also Species 8924 destoryed 3 Borg Cubes at 310 mark 092. There may be some stolen star fleet technology there too.

"That definitely gives me some more options, thank you, Commander. I will check on the last reports from those areas before making a decision. I appreciate you assistance," Frank said.

"Thank you Captain, I was just checking out some information I overheard while we were doing what repairs we could. And you are welcome." replied Rouni.
