S3 - Getting back to the Basics

Cost of Survival

The USS Pennsylvania receives a distress call from an old Starbase that is rather small. The Starbase is home to a group of people who trade to get by. They grow what they can use aquaponics and everything is rationed. Unfortunately, the small engines that keep them in orbit have both failed due to age and they are floating adrift and beginning to run out of supplies. Some of its inhabitants are malnourished and sick, they have also been visited by marauders. They are friendly people who just want to live and let live but are currently struggling to survive.
