Character Bio

Personal History

Born on New London, in the Alistar Cluster, her parents were tickled pink and showered her with basically everything they could afford. Her years before school were well balanced and enjoyable. When she started school, she got along at first but soon her friends started to make fun of her appearance and she started to shun away from them almost to a point where she didn’t want to continue to go to school. She started to learn how to humor them and laugh with them at her appearance and soon was back in school with a genuine want to learn. She wanted to show her friends that she could make it and excel in her work and she did. She became an honored student and her instructors gave her top grades through her studies.

She showed a genuine interest in learning engineering and her secondary schools were geared for engineering. She studied as many aspects of engineering as she could before she lept into battle tactics and their scenarios. Her father was proud of her in this area. He wanted her to become a tactical officer and a tactical fighter pilot but she had other ideas. She wanted to follow her mothers footsteps and went whole hardheartedly into learning the engineering field.

She graduated with top honors in her engineering classes and both her parents agreed to send her to Starfleet Academy.

Starfleet Academy was intimidating at first. All the hustle and bustle of the cadets was nerve wracking and distracting and she was scared by all this noise. Coming from a place where it was much quieter and slower, one could say the world around her was racing by her. She soon got accustomed to it and then she made her first friend and it was that friend that helped her the greatest through her Academy days. Arianna took every course she could in engineering and especially the ones that dealt with the building and engineering of starships. It held a fascination for her and she deeply desired to eventually land her first post to one. Diving deep into her engineering studies she excelled in all areas and made it to the top of her classes there. She took secondary courses in flight and fighter pilot classes. She also learned the tactical strategies and security fields as well to help her in her possibly becoming an officer in security if engineering could not be obtained, but that was an only if thing.

Graduating from the Academy with honors and in the top 5% of her class she proceeded to be shipped out on the USS Argonaut, a Galaxy class uprated starship as her Engineering Officer. She was tickled pink and eager to fly into the stars.

In the ten years that she served on her, she continued to study every system on the ship and impressed her Chief Engineering officer so much that he made her his assistant three months after her posting. That made her parents proud of their daughter and they let her know quickly.

Four years after she came on board, there was a battle between the Romulans and the ship in which her Chief was killed and the captain gave her a rank promotion to Ltjg and gave her the Chief’s spot. Shaken by her bosses death, she reluctantly took the position and continued on in his name and kept the ship from falling apart after the battle. For the next six years life on the ship became normal and her love of the ship became renowned by the crew as they acknowledged her accomplishments and innovations to the drive and structural integrity systems. Her life was shattered when the ship was ambushed by Romulan and Remen forces. They came out of nowhere and attacked the ship without thinking and it wasn’t until the Argonaut was almost blown apart did several starships finally get there and force the Romulans to withdraw. The captain was dead, the XO severely injured and her engineering department almost destroyed including herself with several open and bleeding wounds, did she finally give up and leave, watching her beloved ship get towed back to base and then scrapped. It was a mortal wound to her simply because she spent so many years catering to that ship and calling it her lady.

Once her wounds were healed and she was cleared by starfleet medical was she allowed to put in for a transfer. Looking for another engineering spot, she saw one and put in for it. However Starfleet had different plans for Arianna. She was assigned to Horizon base as her ACEO.
