» It's June!

Posted on Tue Jun 2nd, 2020 @ 10:37pm by in General News

It is hard to believe that it is June already, time has flown by this year. With everything going on in real life, I want to thank each and everyone of you for sticking around and continuing to make the Pennsylvania the best dang ship in the Fleet. As we wrap our shore leave mission and begin our story arc entitled Mystery I wanted to let you know the increase in activity has been outstanding, The month of May was our third highest post count this year with 35. We were also the third highest in our task force. While seeing the numbers are nice, I prefer quality over quantity. As always if you ever have any ideas for missions or suggestions feel free to contact me. Thank you for your time.

Your Humble Captain,

Frank Kamar Jr.

» Recruiting (SATIRE)

Recruitment is Up Up and Away!

The latest monthly reports from Admiral R. E. Cruit has been released. Due to an overwhelming response most of the fleets ship capacity is near overwhelming. He has stated that the recent uptick is due to the revolutionary way the Commanding Officers have been recruiting. When asked the Admiral stated the following, ”Our CO’s have begun standardizing their recruiting messages, by beginning every advertisement with the year is 2394, the masses have been incapable of containing their interest to enlist. Some of the top recruits for this month have been James Tiberius Picard (no relation to either Captain) and Lieutenant Major Commander Hair E Unicorn who has volunteered to lead away missions.”

Statistically the numbers seen have been far greater than previously experienced across the fleet and hos prompted several ships that have been mothballed to be reactivated, the first ship to return to service will be the Constitution Class USS Osheet named after Ensign Osheet whose untimely death on an away mission reverberated through the lower decks nearly sparking a red shirt mutiny.
In conclusion if you are looking for an excellent ship to join there are many options, unless it begins with “The year is 2394 and we are looking for you,” it is not fleet approved. In other news surveillance devices spark concern as the fleet votes later this week to remove “We are looking for you,” from their recruitment posters.

» Crew's Choice Award

Posted on Wed Oct 2nd, 2019 @ 5:27pm by in General News

The Crew's Choice Award is being given to Major Griffiths. The words below from a fellow crew member sums up perfectly the reason for the Award. Congratulations Major Griffiths and thank you for all of your hard work!

For a Crew's Choice, definitely the XO. She's made me feel so welcome as a new player always jumping in to write, quick to come up with ideas, and you can see that she's doing so with everyone with how many posts she's helping to get out. Great job keeping the activity up from the crew!

It is an honor for me to be able to bestow this honor on the Major. One of her Alternate characters was my first CO in a Simm ever and now she has become my XO. The man behind the characters aka Paul is truly one of the best simmers and leaders of Pegasus Fleet. Paul, I do hope this award in some way shows our thanks for your dedication and leadership.

'Twas the night before Christmas
And all through the ship
Though it should have been quiet
The sensors did blip

A creature arrived
Of a type never met
One needed to determine
If it was a threat

Having lost track of time
Still at the lab bench
Worked the bespectacled…
