Frank stepped off of the bridge and into his ready room, he paused a moment to replicate a hot chai tea before sitting at his desk. A minute later after providing the necessary security information the recorded message began.

Shock fell across Franks face as the Admiral spoke, a Task Force Commading Officer. He couldn’t believe it. When he was sent to Horizon Colony he thought it was the end of his career. Now he had his own ship and leader of a task force.

Sitting at his desk, he took a moment to come to terms with the new responsibilities. The lives in his area of responsibility compounded exponentially. He walked back to the bridge shocked by the news of the short message.
