The crew of the Pennsylvania has completed the refit, and work up cruise. They are leaving to travel through the Graviton Catapult to begin their mission in the Delta Quadrant.

    The USS Pennsylvania is beginning to operate in the Delta Quadrant. After an eventful arrival and the death of a crew member, the ship is ready to move forward and begin its mission. With the loss of the Security Chief, the crew has mourned his loss and his replacement is en route.

    Meanwhile a recent Intelligence Bulletin from Iota Station has indicated the Hirogen are hunting the new Starship in "their territory."

Starfleet has decided that since completing the Graviton Catapult and establishing the Iota Station that starting a colony is the next logical step. Their new mission is to locate a Class M planet suitable for establishing a new colony.

    The USS Pennsylvania receives a distress call from an old Starbase that is rather small. The Starbase is home to a group of people who trade to get by. They grow what they can use aquaponics and everything is rationed. Unfortunately, the small engines that keep them in orbit have both failed due to age and they are floating adrift and beginning to run out of supplies. Some of its inhabitants are malnourished and sick, they have also been visited by marauders. They are friendly people who just want to live and let live but are currently struggling to survive.
